The outer silhouette is a clean rectangle, yet the walnut inside keeps its own wandering edge, and every gap between the two is filled with clear resin. When light passes through those open panels the timber seems to dissolve at its borders, while the weave of the rug stays legible beneath the poured sections. Across the surface the grain swirls from honey amber into deep chocolate, tightening into a near-black, fissured band along the bark line. A high-gloss polish holds the whole plane in a soft, mirrored sheen. Four thin brass hairpin legs splay outward, lifting the slab only a hand's width off the floor and leaving daylight to run underneath. Placed before a low seating group it takes on almost no visual weight, remaining a surface you look into rather than at.
