The open voids inside that angled structure visibly lighten an otherwise generous, well-filled body. Because the wood passes outside the upholstery, the dusty rose fabric sits within a border rather than on top of a base, and the joints stay in view, the grain changing from piece to piece. A small zigzag weave runs across the surface, pulling the colour toward coral in direct light and toward faded pink in shade. The back rises to shoulder height, rolls rearward over the top edge of the frame, and a single seam crosses its face low, near the lower third.
