At a long dinner, the first thing a chair decides is how you sit, and the deliberately tall back of the Rowel Dining Chair keeps the posture upright and the table looking composed. The pale natural wood frame rises on either side of the backrest and curves forward into slim arms, with the grain shifting direction at the joints so the hand-shaped blocks stay visible rather than hidden. Cream fabric is stretched flat across the back panel, while the seat is a softer, slightly domed cushion resting on the open wooden rail. The gap left beneath the arms keeps the chair visually light despite its height. Tapered legs splay out by only a few degrees, standing firm without crowding the space under the table. Because the ecru tone stays neutral, it sits beside walnut, oak or marble tops without competing, and a set of four or six reads as one continuous line around the table.
