The body is wrapped in a soft off-white weave, the tall back rising with slightly flared upper corners while the seat stays low, deep and generously rounded. A piped seam sweeps from the top of the back down to arm height, marking where the back panel meets the seat. Holding all that softness in place is the walnut arm: it runs straight from back to front, thins into a flat, slightly raised tip, then turns downward and continues as the front leg in one uninterrupted length. Where the wood passes the outer side panel it frames the upholstery from outside, leaving a crisp edge between dark grain and pale cloth. Two short, gently splayed walnut feet carry the rear. The height of the back closes in around the shoulders and gives the seat a sheltered feeling. Neutral cream lets this armchair read as easily against dark panelling as it does in a bright, plaster-toned room.
